GitHub issues and pull requests with coding agents
Aiola puts GitHub issues, pull requests and tasks beside coding agents in one macOS and Windows desktop app. Plan fixes and review checks with each repository.
Key facts
Start from the issue
Connect the repository to GitHub in workspace settings. Open an issue to read its details and comments. Ask an agent to explain the problem and propose a plan.
Move from a plan to a patch
Choose the changes you want the agent to make. Use a separate worktree when you want the edits on their own branch. Run the checks before opening a pull request.
Review the pull request where you work
Read the pull request comments, checks and changed files in Aiola. Ask an agent about the diff or a failing check. Decide whether the pull request is ready to merge.
Follow the workflow
- Connect the repository in Workspace Settings under Git.
- Open an issue and read the details and comments.
- Ask an agent for a plan, then choose the work to implement.
- Have the agent make the change and run the relevant checks.
- Open the pull request in Aiola and review its checks and diff.
- Request changes or merge after your review.
What to review at the end
- An issue explained before code changes begin.
- A patch you can compare with the agreed plan.
- A pull request reviewed with its comments and checks in view.
